Teresa's podcast

Yesterday evening, November 10, the Lisbon Webheads met in Lisbon for another of our regular dinner get-togethers. This time we went to Madragoa, an old and very typical neighborhood of Lisbon, to Restaurante Mercearia, a former grocery store.
Since it was Rita's borthday, we recorded a special podcast for her. At a certain point I refer "Dia de S. Martinho", today, Nov. 11, when we eat roasted chestnuts and drink red wine. If you'd like to know more about it, please go to http://fwe2.motime.com/ and look for the Nov. 11 post.

Fridays have been my night out with Joao and friends for quite some time. Yesterday was no exception. We had dinner with Manuela, a dear cousin, and Zé Luis, a dear friend, at Restaurante Mercearia in Madragoa, an old and typical neighbourhood of Lisbon.
Since it was Daf's birthday and we'd both been chatting at YM during the afternoon, I told her we'd make a toast to her over dinner.

The Lisbon Webheads had their last dinner of the school year at Apeadeiro, in Cascais. We were all there: Luis, Ramona, Luisa, Fernanda, Teresa, Margarida, Cristina and Joao (left to right). And we had a wonderful time, as you will see from the podcast.

This is my heartfelt "Thank you!" to all the Seamen Apprentices in Lt. Cristina Costa's and Ms. Ramona Dietrich's English classes in the Portuguese Navy (Alfeite) for their beautiful voice messages and their hours of dedication to a living tribute to my father, retired Admiral Vicente Almeida d'Eça.

Here are a few words from each of the people at our table: Teresa, Joao, Luis (Ramona's husband), Ramona, Cristina, Margarida (a colleague and friend from my school) and Teresa Oliveira, a retired colleague. It was a fantastic evening with about 150 colleagues.

Dear BaWers and Webheads,
The Lisbon Webheads got together for dinner in Cascais last Tuesday, Apr. 4, at "O Viriato". We had a wonderful food and great red wine. We heard Cristina talk about her trip to Tampa - her enthusiasm is fantastic! - and then inevitably went on to talk about BaW and WiA.
